Dr. Kivaandra Dayaa Rao Ramarao completed his PhD (Biotechnology) at the University of Malaya, UM. His research involved postharvest biotechnology and stem cell research. He has also been an English debater since 2015 and represented UM in multiple international tournaments as a debater and an adjudicator. Dr. Kivaandra is currently helping as an assistant coach for the University of Malaya's English Debate team. He also assisted as a part-time co-trainer (online) for 3 schools in Hong Kong. Besides that, he completed his BSc (Biotechnology) studies also in University of Malaya with a CGPA of 3.95. Some fun facts, Dr. Kivaandra can converse in multiple languages, including English, Malay and Mandarin. He also served as the President of Biotechnology Club (University of Malaya) and was awarded the title of King Scout back in 2013. He also has a black belt in Taekwondo, piano (Grade 7) and drums (Grade 8).
